Hello, Pack 1238!
We are so excited to start another year of fun-filled scouting.
The leadership team has worked diligently over summer to plan out the year so that our kids can have the best scouting year yet. In this post, you will find exciting news and important dates for upcoming events.
Second, we are selling popcorn again! Yay! As you all know, popcorn is the ONLY fundraising event for cub scouting and we need all of your participation. Popcorn selling is a valuable learning experience for our kids and my son is excited about selling popcorn again.
Third, monthly parent meeting is now face-to-face meeting at Fisler. I know many families have made life-long friends through scouting and I would like to encourage more of it through parent meetings.
It will be on 1st Thursday of every month 7:30-8:30. Please come, socialize, and voice your opinions.
Here are the important dates for next few weeks.
8/30 - Fri 7:00 - 8:30 pm Pack and Parent Meeting Fisler MPR
9/14 - Thu 8:00 am Fall Camp Out Oso Lake
9/21 - Sat 12:00 - 1:00 pm Neighborhood Blitz
Our first pack meeting on 8/30 will be pack meeting/parent meeting. It is a very important meeting as we need to pass the budget and other important matters for our pack.
