In addition, if Scouts are able to attain the extremely elite Eagle Scout rank, they have the opportunity to apply to participate in unique programs. The World Explorers Program pairs extraordinary Eagles with world-class researchers at sites around the globe and partake in field experiments in places such as the Galapagos Islands, Arctic Circle, Amazon rain forest, and South Africa.
